I love the topic you chose for your students. It was a topic that everyone could think of something to write about. You also learned something about your students while assessing them. I loved the Revolutionary War presentations that your students created. It allowed for formative assessment opportunites across all content areas in ELA, and it reinforced social studies content. I am going to use this for my next writing assignment and my culminating activity for the Westward Expansion Unit.
I love how Kahoot can be easily adapted for all grade levels. Students are always engaged and it allows you to easily see what you need to review further! I love the interactive notebook and how you give the students choice in their illustration. It allows them to come up with something that they can relate to and therefore remember it better than if you had just given them the illustration to draw.
